Disinfecting

Storage places like silos have to be disinfected several times a year to prevent mould and to remove remains of earlier stored feed. It is better to disinfect the storage places every time concentrates are stored. But because of lack of time of the poultry farmer and high costs, disinfecting of storage places every time new concentrates are stored can not be done. The supply chain from the silo into the animal facilities should also be included in the cleaning and disinfection procedure.
