Transport of composed Feed

Production and storage of composed feed or diets is normally well controlled.

Transport to the farm however poses some hazards, such as cross contamination via bulk carriers.

They should preferably transport the same type of feed, so cross contamination of spore elements and micro-organisms can be prevented. They also should preferably not deliver to different farms in one haul, and if so tires should be disinfected after leaving one farm. The driver should wear cleaan coveralls at each farm.
