Packing eggs

Sorted eggs are automatically placed in boxes or trays. The packing materials are mostly of recycled cardboard. Those packaging do not contain dye and are decomposable and should not be used again.

Tracking and tracing

The sorting information is stored in a computer. The packing station gives feed back to the farmer. Each pack of eggs gets a unique number, so from every pack in the supermarket the source of the eggs can be traced back. This number is also printed on every egg. The farmer keeps feeding administration of his chickens. The number printed on the egg corresponds with the administration of the packing station and the farmer.
